Itinerary

Samaria National Park

Early in the morning you will be picked up from the designated spot of your choice by our collaborator and your trekking guide, you will be transfered at the entrance of the National Park.

After a small break for coffee and logistic arrangements you will start your hike through the notorious Samaria Gorge. One of the largest National Park of Crete and one of the oldest of Greece, awarded as a worlds Biosphere reserve by Unesco that makes it also one of the most popular hikes of Greece. 

At the end of the hike you will have time for a swim in the crystal clear waters of the Libyan sea, maybe taste some local specialties if you choose to and eventualy get on board the boat that will take you to the next road access spot in order to be picked up and return to your base.

At all times our trekking guide will be with you, helping you organise the time in the gorge, giving you interesting informations about the national park and taking care of all the logistics regarding transfers etc.

Difficulty Level  Medium, all participants must have a good physical condition, This hike should be avoided by persons with medical conditions that are not allowing them to practice any kind of demanding physical activity, conditions such as knee problems heart condtions etc
