Lefka Ori Circuit
 

Explore the whole of Lefka Ori massif in a single trip. From the high lands of mountain "desert" to the crystal clear rigid coasts of the Libyan sea. Meet the culture and the  great outdoors, explore your limits and make some new friends on the way.

Itinerary

Day 1 : Gingilos Summit

Meeting at the designated spot with the rest of the Group. After a quick breifing we start the climb to maybe the most graphic summit of Lefka Ori.

Day  2 : Omalos Plateau - Katsiveli Cabin

On our way to the next cabin we will ascent to Melindaou summit 2133m of altitude and continue to the "heart" of the mountains.

​

Day 3 : Katsiveli - Pachnes Summit

On this day we will be ascending the highest summit of Lefka Ori.

 

Day 4 : Agios Ioannis - Agia Roumeli

A very historic path that used to connect the villages for decades as the only land connection. On this day we will have the chance to swim in the amazing waters of the Libyan sea.

Day 5 : Agia Roumeli - Omalos Plateau

Through Samaria National Park its the closer of the circuit going through one of the most important National Parks of Europe, avoiding the crowds since we are going up.

Route Specifications

Difficulty Level : Hard, all participants must have a good pfysical condition and be able to hike for six hours a day with apporximately 15kg backpack.
